LITTLE GIRL DIES AFTER SCHOOL WALL COLLAPSE

A pupil died in her school changing rooms when a “wobbly” wall, which had allegedly been reported to staff, collapsed on top of her.

The collapse of the internal wall sparked a major emergency response, but paramedics were unable to save the schoolgirl, who was declared dead at the scene.
Parents rushed to the 650-pupil comprehensive, which was built in 1958, after receiving a text from the head teacher telling them a pupil had died, and that no-one else had been injured.
