38 Men Gang-Rape A Girl In Malaysia #bringbackourgirls

Reports say the men took turns to rape their victims for hours.
While reading this story, imagine what could be happening to chibok girls that have been detained by men for over a month. Some of them would already be pregnant.
Read story
Malaysian police have detained 13 men and are still looking for other suspects following allegations that a 15-year-old girl was raped by 38 men in an abandoned hut, a report said on Friday.
The media reported that the assault took place in the Northern state of Kelantan on May 20 when the girl met a girlfriend and was lured to an empty hut reported to be a local drug haunt.
It said that the men took turns to rape her for hours.
Police said they were also investigating whether her 17-year-old friend was also raped.
Report says the alleged attack, which is one of several brutal cases this week underscoring the violence to which women are being subjected across Asia, sparked outrage among women.
Politicians from a Muslim party running in the region said that their proposal to introduce Islamic hudud law with harsh penalties would deter offenders.
State and federal police officers either declined comment or could not be immediately reached.
Media accounts, quoting information from district police chief, Azham Otham, said that 38 men were involved in the crime.
The reports said that several of those detained had tested positive for amphetamine.
It added that a man and his two teenage sons were among those detained.
However, police said action could have been taken had villagers reported the addicts’
presence.
“It is very disturbing to me that no one in the village was even suspicious when the closest neighbour was a mere 20 metres away,’’ police chief, Azham said.
According to police statistics, almost 3,000 rape cases were reported to the police in 2012, of which 52 per cent involved girls of 16 and below.
Convicted rapists face up to 30 years in prison and whipping.

My Boyfriend Made Me Leave Prostitution For Robbery

Bakare (middle) with other members of the gang

According to her story, it was her boyfriend that convinced her to go into armed robbery.  Question is, is prostitution a better deal?
enjoy the story below.....

“I was hustling before Raji, my boyfriend, told me to join his gang,” Bakare began.

But when she was asked to elaborate on what she did as a “hustler,” she explained that she meant prostitution.

Bakare in company with four other members of her gang, were apprehended on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 by the men of Ogun State SARS, who had been on their trail after receiving a tip-off about the gang’s plan.

It all began a few weeks ago, Bakare narrated. She said another member of the gang, Bola Onasile, (also in SARS custody) had approached her boyfriend about the availability of N70m in a wealthy man’s house in Joju area of Sango, Ogun State.

“I have only gone on two operations with them. I don’t know him (Onasile) well. I only know that he was the one who brought the job.

“Raji gathered other members and they snatched a vehicle (a Nissan Quest) around Iwo Road, Ibadan. We decided that the vehicle would be used for the operation.

“The gang asked me to sit in the front of the vehicle so that when we were stopped by policemen on the way, being a woman in the front seat would make them unsuspicious. But during the operation, the police cornered us and Raji was shot dead.”

Bakare did not betray any emotions as she narrated how the operation went.

Asked if she smoked Indian hemp like other members of her gang, she said, “I have never tasted it, I only smoke cigarette.”

But when our correspondent asked about her parents, tears streamed down her face.

“I am from Idofian in Kwara State. My father is late but my mother lives in Ibadan. She has no idea I do this kind of job and she does not even know I am in police custody.”

Bakare explained that she was a prostitute in Lekki where she was making up to N5,000 per day until about two years ago.

“I was living with a security guard in a house at Osborne in Ikoyi. The landlord of the house was out of the country. I was going from there to ‘hustle’ in Lekki every night.

“Raji was a good helper to me. That was why I decided to leave prostitution when he begged me. When he introduced me to armed robbery, I asked him if there would be no problem and he assured me that there would be none. When we started dating, I did not know he was an armed robber though.”

Asked how much she was promised out of the N70m they were going to steal, Bakare said whatever went to her late boyfriend would have accrued to her as well.

The young lady said she learnt photography when she dropped out of secondary school but had not been able to practise the trade because she did not think she could make much money from it

India: Children raped, forced to eat faeces in Indian school

Rape cases in India is so high that 4 out of every 10 girls are endangered species when it comes to rape cases
The owner and manager of a children's boarding school in western India have been arrested after five minors said they were raped, forced to watch pornographic films and act them out with one another, police and charity workers said.
The children were made to eat faeces as a punishment if they did not comply.
The 52-year-old owner of the Chandraprabha Charitable Trust and his 30-year-old female manager were arrested on Monday after a police raid on the school in Karjat city in Maharashtra state.
"We received a police complaint from the Childline charity saying that one child had gone home for the holidays and confessed to his mother that abuses were happening," Karjat's Police Inspector R.R. Patil told the Thomson Reuters Foundation late on Thursday.
"Five children in total have now come forward and we have booked the two suspects under various offences," he said, adding that these included unnatural sex (sodomy), wrongful confinement and sexual assault.
The school accommodated 28 underprivileged children, aged between 4 and 14, for 10 months of the year, said Patil, but most were on holiday at home at the time of the raid.
Police were trying to find out whether other children were abused and if there were any other suspects.
Anuradha Sahasrabudhe of Childline, a charity supported by the government, said the children had spoken about all kinds of sexual and physical abuse.
"It's a horrific case. The children have been telling us about the sexual abuse going on there. There has been oral sex, there has been forced sex... These things have been photographed," Saharasabudhe told the NDTV news channel.
"Children have been punished by making them eat dog excreta and when they vomited, they were made to eat vomit," she added.
Police say the residential school had been running since 2002, but was not registered and had therefore escaped government inspections by child welfare officials.
Child sexual abuse is disturbingly common in homes, schools, and residential care facilities in India.
Inspection mechanisms for children's homes, shelters and schools are inadequate and many privately run facilities are not even registered, a February 2013 report by Human Rights Watch said.
In May 2012, serious sexual abuse was uncovered at a well-established residential care home for orphans called Apna Ghar (Our Home) in Rohtak on the outskirts of Delhi.

Girls said they were forced to have sex with strangers for money and that they had been abused.

Boko Haram Suspected Of kidnapping Two Prominent Emirs

According to premium times
The extremist Boko Haram sect has kidnapped two first class traditional rulers in Borno state – the Emir of Uba, Ismaila Mamza and the Emir of Gwoza, Idrisa Timta, security officials aware of the incidence have told PREMIUM TIMES.
The two emirs were seized by gun-wielding insurgents at 10a.m Friday near Shaffa while they were travelling to Gombe to attend the funeral of the Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar, who died on Tuesday evening at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, where he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
The two abducted emirs were elevated to First Class traditional ruler status only in January.
The Borno state government is yet to issue an official statement on the abduction.
The abduction came 46 days after the Boko Haram sect whisked away over 250 schoolgirls from their dormitories in Chibok.
Over 200 of the girls are yet to be freed

UN: Nigeria Now An Al-Qaeda Affiliate

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon

The United Nations has added the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram, to its list of terrorist organisations formally recognised as being associated with al-Qaeda, according to a report by Defenseone.com.

The listing puts Nigeria on the UN map of countries having an Al-Qaeda affiliate.
The website said the UN in its statement stated that Boko Haram, “has maintained a relationship with the Organisation of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb for training and material support purposes.”
President Goodluck Jonathan had on Thursday in a national broadcast declared a full war on the group following its abduction of over 200 school girls on April 14, 2014.
The website observed that the UN listing of Nigeria as a home to one of Al-Qaeda affiliates, had put Nigeria on the map in a way Jonathan would have done best to avoid.
Pakistan is home to the largest number of al-Qaeda affiliates, with 12, followed by Afghanistan with five.
Meanwhile, a security consultant, Max Gbanite, has said that the funding for the war against terror should be sourced from the excess crude account and should be on the first line charge.
He said the current budgetary allocation to the security forces was inadequate and should be sourced from the excess crude account to empower the military to combat the security crisis in the country.
Gbanite advised President Jonathan to table a special request before the National Assembly on the effective funding of the security forces through deductions from excess crude account.
The consultant noted that Nigeria with the largest population and economy in Africa, should be able to fund its military adequately to respond to the challenges of the time.
He blamed systemic corruption for the rot in the military, noting that the purchase of sub-standard equipment and military hardware from China was a bad idea, adding that the country only produced generic weapons like Ak47.

Chibok Girls: Obasanjo warns military against propaganda

 Former President Olusegun Obasanjo

Ex Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday 29th may 2014, warned the Nigerian military not to “play Public Relations propaganda” with the abduction of over 200 female pupils of the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
Obasanjo said this in a Channels Television news monitored in Lagos on Thursday night.
Asked to react to comments made by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, that the Nigerian military knew the whereabouts of the abducted girls, Obasanjo said, “This is not an issue that you will play public relations propaganda with.
“It is a serious issue that is like a spear in the heart of the parents and whatever statement we make and action we take, if it will not really deal with the issue in a way that will bring those girls out safe and secure and make their families happy and will also give every Nigerian a sense of security, then such statements should not be made,” he said.
He said that he would be pleasantly surprised if the Chibok girls were “returned intact.”
Asked to confirm whether or not he met with some relations of the Boko Haram leaders, Obasanjo said that he was planning to inform President Goodluck Jonathan before holding talks on the Chibok girls “but was surprised at how certain meetings have turned out.”
“I cannot have a plan without the Presidency being involved,” he said.
He added that he was not “going on a one -man mission,” to rescue the kidnapped girls, insisting that doing so would be “idiotic.”
Obasanjo said he was beaten by Shehu Sani to letting the state and national authorities know the meeting had taken place.
He added, “I have to involve the President and he also tells me this is what we are doing or this is what we are pursuing either in addition or along with what we are doing or not”.
Reacting to President Jonathan’s allegation that the abduction of the girls was done to bring down his government, Obasanjo said such thought was “unfortunate.”
“If the Presidency is obsessed with one thing and one thing only and any other thing of concern to Nigeria is secondary then the Presidency will take that position, then this will be unfortunate,” he said.

Rasheed Ladoja Dead

Adebola Ladoja
Former Governor of Oyo State, Rasheed Ladoja, on Thursday lost one of his sons in an auto crash on the Eko Bridge in Lagos.

The deceased, identified as Adebola Ladoja, was driving a Golf saloon car, marked, AKD 107 CJ, and was said to be on his way to Lagos Island when a Daf truck, with number plate, JJJ 59 XA, driven by one Justice Oseghai, rammed into his car on the Eko Bridge.
An eyewitness said the driver of the Daf truck, who was on top speed, lost control of his vehicle, rammed into the median of the bridge, before he eventually crashed into the deceased’s car.
He said, “It took several hours before the victim could be rescued from the wreckage of the vehicle. He was trapped behind the wheels with blood gushing out of his head.”
The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, who confirmed the incident, added that it occurred at about 3.30pm.
She said, “At about 3.30pm on the Eko Bridge, Lagos Island, a Daf truck with number plate, JJJ 59 XA, driven by one Justice Oseghai, ran into a Volkswagen Golf saloon car, marked, AKD 107 CJ, driven by one Adebola Ladoja, the son of a former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasheed Ladoja.
“The victim died on the spot. The corpse has been removed to the Lagos Island General Hospital mortuary for autopsy while the truck driver has been arrested.”

Jonathan Declares War and Amnesty On B’Haram Members

goodluck-jonathan1
President Goodluck Jonathan has directed the armed forces   to launch a full-scale military operation against Boko Haram and other violent organisations to put an end to their impunity   in the country.
“I am determined to protect our democracy, our national unity and our political stability by waging a total war against terrorism,” he said in his nationwide Democracy Day broadcast in Abuja.
“I assure you … that these thugs will be driven away. It will not happen overnight, but we will spare no effort to achieve this goal,” Jonathan said.
The President explained that the full-scale operation against the terrorists had become imperative because they had unleashed war on Nigeria.
But he   still did not rule out “dialogue, reconciliation” with the insurgents if they renounced terrorism and embraced peace.
Jonathan said that Nigeria’s unity, stability and the protection of lives and property were non-negotiable
At another   event organised to   mark the   Democracy Day for youths, the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Boni Haruna, announced that   Jonathan   had offered amnesty for Boko Haram members ready to lay down their arms and embrace peace.
Haruna, who gave an   overview of youths’ position in the present administration’s transformation agenda at an event attended by Jonathan   and Vice-President Namadi Sambo, said the offer was part of   youths-friendly programmes and policies of the government.
The event   was almost marred by power failure that happened when the President mounted the podium to present a compendium of his administration’s achievements in the last one year and answer questions from youths.
Haruna said, “President Jonathan has also declared amnesty for members of the Boko Haram sect. A series of integration programmes have been lined up for members of the sect who would surrender their arms and embrace peace.”
He therefore called on the sect members to embrace the government’s gesture by keying into the amnesty programme.
The minister recalled that in the wake of youth restiveness in the Niger Delta, the government came up with a development programme which provided an opportunity for the youth to express themselves and have a meaningful life.
Haruna said although the amnesty programme was a fallout of a bitter national security challenge , its effect on the youth had been profound.
He disclosed that 30,000 youths that   benefitted from the programme   transformed from militants to wealth creators, employers of labour and skilled citizens.
Jonathan while answering questions from youths who attended the programme tagged   “A day with young leaders of Nigeria,”   said the military alone was incapable of stopping terrorism or any kind of radicalism alone .

Brono State Government: This Is Why We Are Handicapped In Saving The Chibok Girls

The Secretary to the Borno State Government, Ambassador Ahmed Jidda gave the state government's account on the missing Chibok girls and why Borno government appeared handicapped in providing security for the school girls on the night of the abduction.
Enjoy reading.....

During the interview, the SSG said the initial number of girls abducted were 276 with 53 escaping and now remaining 223. He said with the recent return of 4 more girls, the number of girls now with the abductors is 219. He said the 77 girls shown in the recently released video by Abubakar Shekau have been identified by their parents and that the 57 girls that have so far returned are currently at the state Governments house where they are being taken care of. Continue...

The SSG said the allegations that the abduction was stage managed by the Governor to stop extension of emergency rule was totally false and was discredited with the release of the video by Shekau taking responsibility for the abduction of the girls and also stating his conditions for the release of the girls. He said the military saying they now know the location of the missing girls prove that the whole abduction was never staged by the state government.

As regards the letter reportedly sent by the Minister of Education warning that the Government Girls Secondary school was not safe to write exams and the students be moved due to security reasons, the SSG said indeed the state government received the letter but that the letter sent by the Minister only requested for security details for the Examination officials and not for the students. He aid the letter asked that security be provided in exam venues which is in Maiduguri, Biu, Chibok, Lassa and never asked for security for the students. He said on receiving the letter, the state government wrote to the State Police Commissioner requesting for security details for the WAEC officials as stated in the letter but the police did not respond to their request. He said the Minister's letter requested for security only for the Unity schools which is owned by the Federal Government and not for the Chibok Government schools as he never mentioned the school in his letter. He maintained that the Minister never bothered about the Chibok girls. He said the state Governor could not enforce the Commissioner of Police to provide security for the students if they did not want to do so because the Nigerian constitution did not provide the Governor the power to interfere in the activities of the Police which is to provide internal security in the state. He said even though the Governor was called the Chief Security Officer of the State, the constitution did not provide him any power to control the police, army, or even the Nigerian Civil Defence Corp.
Asked why the Governor did not use from his security vault to provide security for his people since the Commissioner of Police was allegedly not being responsive, the SSG said
"Security vault has a wider implication. If you know what security vault is, it has so many implications. Prayers for instance is a security vault. We have never received any assistance from the Federal Government in the area of security. The only time the FG supported Borno state in the area of security was in 2009 when the insurgency started. Till today, they released only N200m. This same FG released 3bn to security outfits. We have received only N200m, so this Governor (Gov Kashim) is a Governor that has preoccupied himself with Funding security matters. We have spent N10bn on security. We have provided more than 400 vehicles to the security agencies. We pay for the security official's logistics."
Asked how much the security vault was, he said
"Let me take you back to the Military. Security vault is a vault that was unaccounted for but since the advent of democracy in 1999, it is inscribed in the constitution that every Governor and even the President should put it in the budget for consideration on the approval of the National Assembly or State Assembly as the case may be. In the case of borno, we had N4bn in 20011, N4bn in 2012 and N4bn in 2013, for the 3years N12bn as proved in the budget as security vault and is generally audited and gives a lead way to the Governor to fund security requirement of the security agencies within Borno state. Security operatives in Borno state would testify to tha fact, whether on the part of the Commissioner of Police, or the Director of the SSS or  Customs, Police, Army they are all members of the security councel.and when ever they raise issues on requirements, we never told them to go to the FG or Min. of Defence. We always provided funding for them" he said
The SSG was asked why the state government did not bother to ask for security details for the state owned schools since according to him, the letter from the Minister wrote requesting for security only for its Unity schools, the SSG said the responsibility of the state Government was to write to the Police Commissioner before the kidnap, which they did.
Asked what is the true account of what happened the night the girls were kidnapped as there are conflicting reports as to what happened, the SSG said
"The authentic story is the one from the Borno state Governor because the Governor of Borno state personally visited Chibok and also  his Wife and Commissioner of Education in the state also visted the school'.
He said the girls were initially deceived by the Islamic sect men that they were coming and that they were there to give them protection. He said they were lured into a lorry and taken away. He said the school was thereafter razed down. He said the real version of the story is the one from the state government as they were the ones on ground as Chibok is not in Bayelsa or Lagos state.
Asked why the security agencies did not honor the state letter requesting for security personnel, he said the question should be directed at them. He said he and the Governor don't supervise the police.
Asked why did the state government still continued with examinations in the centre since it had been informed of the security challenges in the area, he said it was the responsibilty of the Police to write back to the state Government acknowledging their letter dated March 21st requesting for security personnel. He said the  Government respects the constitution which leaves the responsibility of maintaining internal security of states to the Police.
On whether the principal was available when the Islamic sect men arrived the school on the night of the abduction, he said
"No she was not around. She lives outside the school. They (the principal and the teachers) don't live with the girls.
He said they could not do anything about the police not responding to their request as the governor didnthe powers of the Governor to interfere in the affairs of the Police. He was asked why then did the state Government still proceed with conducting examinations in schools since it was said to be unsafe, he said
"It is because it was said to be safe and that security provisions would be made and that all that needs to be done was to be provided by the security officials.
He said the constitution as it is today stops Governors from interfering in matters on security even in their own states.
Asked if he was absorbing the state government of any blame on the missing girls, he said
"Yes naturally. I would not be sitting down to see people insinuation things that are not our responsibility".
He said the recent declaration by the Chief of Defence staff that the military knows where the Chibok girls are might make the abductors relocate.
Asked whether the Governor was aware that Pres. Jonathan was to visit his state before leaving for France when the Governor left for London, the SSG said
"Initially he was not aware but information came to us that Mr President would stop over in Maiduguri to Chibok so the Governor cut short his visit and we came back, waiting to receive the president only for the programme to be shifted to some other agenda. I mentioned to the Governor that Presidential visit is a major event. Normally we get 1 week notice of Presidential visit to prepare where he would stay, the roads he would pass. While we were waiting, we got news that the visit was shifted". He said the Governor went to London to look for investment opportunities for the state.
He said presently all schools in Borno state are closed down. He called on the Federal Government to fund the state with more money to fight the insurgency.

SHOCKING!!!! VAMPIRES DID EXIST

No top teeth and with a stake through the leg, the skeleton exhumed in Kamien Pomorski
Popular literature would have it that the vampire's preferred habitat is Transylvania (or, if you're under 15, the slightly less glamorous Forks, Washington).
But modern day vampire hunters might better focus their attention on a little-known area of northwestern Poland, where earlier this month a suspected vampire grave was exhumed.tery
Slawomir Gorka, who led the dig at a marketplace in the small West Pomeranian town of Kamien Pomorski, told local website kamienskie.info that several unusual aspects of the burial "indicate that it is a vampire burial".
Teeth had been removed, a fragment of rock was inserted in the mouth, and a leg had been staked (presumably to prevent the body rising from the grave).
And this isn't the first time an interment in Poland has been deemed vampiric. Last July, archaeologists uncovered four decapitated skeletons, their heads placed between their legs, at a construction site in Gliwice, southern Poland. Both the Gliwice and Kamien Pomorski graves are estimated to date back to the 16th century.
The burials may sound gruesome, but they are befitting of early medieval Polish folklore's particularly grisly interpretation of the vampire myth.
The stone in the mouth might be to make a supernatural barrier between the worlds of the dead and the living.
"Specific to Polish vampires is that they are known for eating their own flesh and burial garments when they rise from the dead," says Titus Hjelm, who convenes a course on vampires for the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies at University College London. He adds that this may explain the stone placed in the mouth of the skeleton.
Fear of vampires was strong among Eastern Europeans in the medieval period.
Professor Martyn Rady, a colleague of Hjelm's, posits the folk tales spread from Serbia to surrounding countries following a report sent by Austrian military authorities to their superiors in Vienna. It told of a mercenary soldier who had been turned into a vampire and infected his victims, who when exhumed from their own graves were found to have fresh blood in their cavities. The report was intercepted before reaching the Austrian capital and published in newspapers.
The Polish had particular reason to fear vampires rising from their graves, Hjelm explains.

"According to some sources, Poles thought that vampires were born, rather than 'made'," he says. "They were normal people who could live normal lives, not aristocrats living in distant castles. The problems only started when these people died. They could come back to live with their families and even impregnate their wives.

Obasanjo Steps In To Save The Day #BringBackOurGirls

Culled from Premium times
A former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has commenced efforts to reach out to the extremist Boko Haram sect, in a series of attempts at negotiating with the sect to free over 250 school girls it abducted more than a month ago from Chibok, in Borno State.
A source close to the former leader told PREMIUM TIMES Tuesday that Mr. Obasanjo has contacted a go-between, who assisted him in his unsuccessful attempt at mediating with the Boko Haram group in 2011.
The go-between, a lawyer, was led by a prominent civil rights activist, Shehu Sani, to meet with Mr. Obasanjo weekend in his Otta farm in an “exploratory” effort, our source said.
Mr. Obasanjo’s 2011 attempt at negotiations with the deadly sect ended on a bloody note with the murder of Babakura Fugu, the man who received him and made effort to establish a link between Boko Haram and the former president.
The effort was reportedly not at the instance of the federal government, officials said at the time.
Mr. Fugu, a brother-in-law of the slain leader of Boko Haram, Mohammed Yusuf, was shot to death shortly after Mr. Obasanjo’s departure from Maiduguri, Borno State, where he had flown to seek peace talks with the group.
The attack ended one of the best known efforts at reaching out to the deadly sect, which is responsible for thousands of deaths.
Since 2011, the group has killed thousands more, and recently drew the outrage of the international community with the abduction of hundreds of girls from their dormitory in Chibok, Borno State.
After more than a month, the Nigerian military said Monday the locations of the girls have been established. The defence chief, Air Chief Marshal Alex Madeh, however ruled out the use of force to free the girls, citing the risk.
But the Nigerian government has insisted it will not negotiate with Boko Haram, which has asked to trade the abducted girls with detained members of the group.
Government insiders however say the administration is pushing for talks behind the scenes to free the girls. A spokesperson, Mike Omeri, who heads the National Orientation Agency, had also said all options were open to the government.
The source said government’s push is different from the move by Mr. Obasanjo.
He said Mr. Obasanjo is deeply disturbed by the insurgency and has recently come under local and international pressure to act and help free the girls.
Mr. Obasanjo wanted to first ascertain the whereabouts and availability of the lawyer who put him in touch with Mr. Fugu in 2011, and whether he would be willing to help.
Mr. Sani however helped tracked the lawyer down and then travelled with him to Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital for a meeting with Mr. Obasanjo.
Our source said the lawyer promised to help. But Mr. Obasanjo, who planned to brief President Goodluck Jonathan on his moves, requested the intermediary to establish preliminary contact and begin exploratory talks with the sect.
The former president requested the lawyer to provide him with regular feedback so he could brief Mr. Jonathan of his initiative and progress so far made on his return from a London trip.
When contacted Tuesday, Mr. Obasanjo declined comments on the matter. He only said, “What do you want me to do? Do you want me to fold my hands why this insurgency continue? How do you expect me to sleep well when these innocent girls are being held by their abductors?”
